This spiral notepad, bound like a reporter’s notebook with the spiral at the top, features one of Wesselmann’s most iconic pieces of art, Smoker 1 (Mouth 12) from 1967 in the center of the notepad against a black background.
- 120 pages (60 lined, 60 blank)
- Measures 6" x 8" (15.2 x 20.3 cm)
- Black plastic spiral
- Made in China
About the artwork: Wesselmann extended his focus of his Mouth series to include smoking lips when one of his models, Peggy Sarno, paused to smoke a cigarette when Wesselmann was sketching her mouth. The delicate wisps of smoke against the red, seductive lips created an even more alluring representation of the isolated female form.
